Web3 developer Alchemy has announced the acquisition of NFT LaunchPad Heymint, the startup behind Web3 initiatives employed by MasterCard, Ubisoft and others.
According to a press release sent to Crypto.News, blockchain infrastructure designers are aiming to accelerate the development of Smart Wallets solutions through the latest acquisitions.
By folding the Heymint and Heymint Quest teams, the company hopes to expand developer support, simplify integration and further expand the development of smart wallet solutions for its projects. Alchemy hopes one day to turn the smart wallet into the default way to bring new users into the Web3 space.
According to data from the analytics site Bundlebear, Alchemy (ACH) is currently the number one smart wallet in the ERC-4337 ecosystem, with over 13 million smart wallets available.
Integrating into Heymint’s Alchemy’s corporate structure will bring Heymint’s co-founder and CTO Flor Ronsmans de Vry and other members of the Heymint team to the company.
De Vry is known as the renowned Web3 developer on Crypto Space who founded the UK-based Blockchain Automation Company Fuse Robotics. The co-founders of Heymint are ready to provide SDK knowledge and years of experience in scaling critical blockchain applications.

“Participating in alchemy gives you the scale and reach to further your vision, providing safe and user onboarding that is available to all developers and projects,” De Vry said in his statement.
De Vry, together with Mai Akiyoshi and Ben Yu, founded a startup focused on NFTs. With over 1 million users, Heymint is known for creating a variety of tools that do not require a coding experience. Over 40,000 creators use Heymint’s tools, generating roughly $38 million in total sales of NFT.
Not only that, the team supports many Web3 initiatives for major companies, such as MasterCard, Ubisoft, Universal Music Group, and The Sandbox.
Joe Lau, president and co-founder of Alchemy, said the company is looking forward to boarding the Heymint team. He hopes that the integration will help improve and accelerate the innovation of the company’s smart wallet.
“The focus on creating the most accessible and user-friendly experiences is perfectly in line with Alchemy’s vision of onboarding next-generation users and technology companies to Web3, and we look forward to welcoming our teams to our team,” Lau said.
