Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) retweeted a notable post by social media influencer Matt Wallace.
Wallace argued that Coinbase is the “anonymous” source behind President Donald Trump’s crypto project world’s negative reporting on Liberty Financial and Vinance.
Wallace used the following expression in his post:
“Evidence reveals that Coinbase is the anonymous source behind President Trump’s smear campaign against world Liberty Financial and Vinance.”
Coinbase executives are said to be concerned about the CZ’s potential presidential pardon and the possibility that Binance could return to the United States in legal position. Given Coinbase’s high transaction fees and lower customer service, it is believed that Binance could lose significant market share if he reenters the US market.
