Binance announced at 11:00am ET on June 16, 2025 that it will end its support for depositing and withdrawing certain tokens over certain networks.
Binance to end support for certain token transactions in BNB Smart Chain from June 16th
According to the announcement, the changes will affect the next token:
Staffi (FIS) via BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20)
BNB Smart Chain Measurable Data Token (MDT) (BEP-20)
Binance warned that after the specified date and time, deposits created via the BNB smart chain of these tokens will not be credited to the user’s account, and the assets could be permanently lost.
Alternate networks will continue to be used
Despite the suspension, users can deposit and withdraw FIS and MDT using other networks supported by Binance. Exchange did not specify which alternative networks would be available, but encouraged users to check out wallet and deposit options on the platform.
The move appears to be part of Binance’s ongoing efforts to streamline network integration and reduce operational risks associated with multi-chain support.
Users are advised to double-check their leaving network settings and update the automatic transaction to ensure that transactions do not fail after the cutoff date.
