ChainLink, a platform that provides real data to blockchains, and the APTOS Foundation, which supports the development and growth of APTOS blockchain, have announced that ChainLink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) is live on APTOS MainNet. This is the first time CCIP has been integrated with a mobile-based blockchain, expanding interoperability across over 60 EVM and non-EVM networks.
Aave’s Gho Stablecoin is now available for use with Aptos along with Bedrock’s UniBTC and BRBTC. These assets can be transferred via CCIP-driven interport applications. The integration allows Defi protocols and token issuers to extend their services to the APTOS ecosystem, providing wide range of access to users and developers.
CCIP is built on a decentralized chain link system that provides the secure infrastructure needed for facility-grade applications and protects tens of trillions of value. Aptos is currently connected with Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Op Mainnet and Sonic, and is planned for further expansion.
The deployment follows previous integration of the Chain Link Data Feed on its involvement in APTOS and Aptos Foundation’s chain link scale program. Together, these initiatives aim to increase cross-chain liquidity and the adoption of APTOS blockchain.
