Keshav is currently a senior writer at NewsBTC and has been with the website since June 14, 2021.
Keshav has been writing for many years, first as a hobby and then as a freelancer. Although he has worked in a variety of fields and even dabbled in fiction at one point, his longest obsession has been with the cryptocurrency industry.
Regarding his official educational background, Keshav holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Delhi University (DU), one of India’s premier institutions. He began his degree with the goal of eventually building a career in physics, but the coronavirus outbreak changed his plans. Due to the virus, university classes had to be conducted in online mode, which gave him free time to explore other passions.
Keshav, who initially only wanted to earn some beer money, unexpectedly landed a client who delivered real projects, and from then on there was no looking back. Writing was something he had always enjoyed, and being able to make a living doing it was a dream come true.
Keshav completed his physics degree in 2022 and has been writing since then, but that doesn’t mean his passion for physics is over. He plans to eventually re-enroll in college to get a master’s degree in the same field, but probably only to satisfy his own interests rather than use it as a means to get a job.
Keshav has found blockchain and its concepts fascinating ever since he started going back down the rabbit hole in 2020. On-chain analytics in particular is something he would like to explore more of, which is why his NewsBTC works tend to include it in some form.
Keshav, who comes from a science background, likes concepts to be clear and consistent. So I’ll go into a little more detail about the metrics he talks about so that you probably understand and learn something new.
Regarding his hobbies, Keshav is very interested in soccer, anime, and video games. He enjoys soccer not only as a spectator but also as a player. When it comes to gaming, Keshav generally tends to enjoy single-player adventures, and the only online game he actively participates in is EA FC (formerly FIFA). However, perhaps because he is so focused on the game, he is now a semi-pro in the EA FC scene, regularly participating in tournaments and sometimes even winning back winnings.
He was passionate about anime and gaming, so he taught himself Japanese to enjoy the untranslated gems out there. More than just a hobby, this skill was put to productive use as she sought out small-scale gigs at the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, completing several Japanese-English translation jobs.
Keshav is also passionate about fitness, with agility and acceleration-related training being a big part of his program as it relates to football. In addition to that, he also does a more traditional strength-based program for the gym, which he does to maintain overall body fitness levels.
