On June 16, the Trump organization announced its latest venture, a wireless business called Trump Mobile, which is scheduled to be released in September, including a 5G mobile phone plan and a much-anticipated golden T1 8002 smartphone.
Donald Trump Jr., the company’s CEO and eldest son of US President Donald Trump, has announced that the new mobile service will offer a plan of $47.45 a month without unlimited talks, texts, data and long-term contracts. It also includes roadside support, telehealth and pharmacy benefits, according to the Trump Mobile website. The Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) service leverages existing frameworks for three major wireless carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.
The price of wireless services nods to two presidential terms in the White House, with 47 referring to Trump’s current presidency and his first term in the oval office between 2017 and 2021.
Trump Mobile has announced the T1, a gold Android smartphone that can now be pre-ordered. The device’s spec sheet displays a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, triple camera setup, 5,000mAH battery, 256GB storage, 12GB RAM, and an Android 15 out-of-box.
This blog covers everything you need to know about Trump Mobile’s 47 plans and upcoming “Made in America” T1 smartphones.
Trump Mobile 47 Plan

The 47 plan is a monthly mobile service plan with unlimited 5G conversations, text messages, and up to 20GB of high speed data. It offers national coverage of US leading airlines AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon to support international long-distance calls to 100 destinations across six continents.
Additionally, Trump Mobile, along with Roadside Assistance by Drive America, offers protection and coverage for all unlocked devices registered in the 47 plan. It also brings telehealth and pharmacy benefits with “unlimited” 24/7 unlimited 24/7 mental health and wellness services via video or phone, as well as a prescription discount program. The company’s customer service center operates in St. Louis, Missouri.
Those who want to join Trump Mobile can do so using their existing phones, and the company will provide a SIM card. Interested customers can verify eligibility by entering the device’s IMEI number on the Trump Mobile website to see if it is compatible with the 47 plan and its services.
T1 Phone
The T1 is a $499 Android smartphone that Trump Mobile is expected to drop later this year. The company says it is “a sophisticated gold smartphone designed for performance, proudly designed and built in the United States.”
The device features a 6.8-inch AMOLED 120Hz refresh rate display with a 16MP hole punch selfie camera. There are three cameras, including a 50mp main lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. The T1 comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging, 256GB of internal storage as standard, and 12GB of RAM. When it comes to security, there is a missing fingerprint scanner and face recognition.
The rendering shows that the T1 will bring back two features that many smartphone users are craving: MicroSD support for expandable storage and 3.5mm headphone jack for wired headphones. It runs on the Android 15 operating system, but instead of stock Android, it uses playing cards or American-themed skin.
The T1 is compared with the specs of the ASUS ROG Phone 9 and comes with similar screen, storage, RAM, operating system and battery sizes as the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Regarding network support, T1 will feature Liberty Mobile, a freedom-themed mobile virtual operator (MVNO) based on the T-Mobile network. Coverage and cell service on Trump Mobile should be similar to other MVNO carriers in the US, such as Mint Mobile, Metro, and Us Mobile.
The Trump Mobile T1 8002 smartphone is expected to compete in the market in August, according to the press release or website. You can pre-order $100 down payments and work with T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon Networks.
Will the T1 phone be built in the US?
In a press release for new wireless services and smartphones, Trump’s organization points out that T1 phones will be “designed and built” in the United States, reflecting President Trump’s “America First” agenda.
The company did not provide additional details on the procurement of mobile phone manufacturing, but given the reality of the global supply chain, some or most of its components come from overseas, particularly China. The Trump administration is urging manufacturers to move their facilities to the US to escape tariffs and asking Apple to build iPhones domestically.
However, US-based smartphone makers are relying on foreign countries to assemble their products, including those who make cheaper and more affordable smartphones. Therefore, Trump’s fever dream dream dreams look harsh in the current situation. Trump Mobile can source key components of T1 from India or China and assemble them in the US.
