Cryptocurrency researchers going to Fede internship show some important upgrades that Ethereum (ETH) may receive in the near future. In addition to optimized validation architectures and parallelized data logistics, Ethereum (ETH) may enjoy double transaction latency cuts.
Ethereum (ETH) can reduce latency by 50% with this EIP
EIP-7782: A key Ethereum improvement proposal that reduces block latency and is currently being discussed, potentially reducing latency by 50%, reorganizing bandwidth usage, and improving the user experience of the largest smart contract platform.
Here, I remember you all have customers at @ethereum.
I think EIP-7928 should be one of @ethereum’s biggest priorities. Allows to read parallel disks, validate parallel transactions, and updates without execution.

As specified in the EIP official description of Ethereum.org, this change makes bandwidth usage smoother, faster L1/L2 interactions, tightens DEX prices, reduces MEV and refines while retaining the size of the block and blobs without changing them.
Written by Ethereum (ETH) veterans Ben Adams and Dankrad Feist, EIP is currently on a standard track that is currently underway in the “draft” phase.
Additionally, FEDE interns listed EIP-7928: Block Level Access (BLA) as an opportunity to parallelize disk reads and transaction validation to optimize Ethereum (ETH) operations.
EIP-7928 was introduced in March 2025.
At the same time, EIP-7732: Enshrined Proposer-Builder separation could be too complicated for existing protocol designs and could be investigated later, Fede’s intern concluded.
2026 GS Steldam Ethereum (Eth) Hard Fork Shape: What You Know
EIP-7732 is expected to separate the running validation from the consensus validation.
Along with other EIPs, the aforementioned updates may be included in Gloas-Amsterdam, or Glamsterdam, Ethereum (Eth) Hard Fork.
Expanding the results of Prague Electra (Pektra) Hard Fork and Floosaka (Fusaka) – to be activated in the fourth quarter of 2025 – Gramasterdam will introduce new opcodes for several features and rethink the gas model.
In most cases, Gramaster Dam will be activated in 2026.
