THORchain (RUNE)

What is THORchain?

THORchain is a liquidity protocol which allows users to trade any digital asset without sharing the custody with an exchange. Order books are not used to generate liquidity on THORchain. Instead, an Automated Market Maker model is used to generate liquidity by pooling funds in a pool. RUNE is the platform's native cryptocurrency which is used to participate in governance activities. RUNE is also staked in order to participate in THORchain's Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus process.

Why buy RUNE?

RUNE is an ERC-20 as well a BEP-2 token. THORchain uses state of the art technology such as  the Bifröst Signer Module and a TSS protocol to optimize the transactions on its network. The platform is designed to be beginner friendly, and all profits generated by the exchange accrue to the users. THORchain also prevents temporary or impermanent losses to liquidity providers by using a slip based fee to prevent the misuse of funds. Developers and users of the network are incentivized to participate by holding RUNE tokens.
