Crypto.com today launched a major overhaul of its customer benefits program and introduced leveling up. It is a three-tier subscription and CRO staking program that charges the company as the industry’s most rewarding set of perks.
This new offering bundles zero meeting trading with crypto and stocks, cash yield accounts, credit and prepaid card programs, stock transfer bonuses and CRO staking rewards.
Level up is offered in three paid tiers and professional and private, with subscription plans starting at $4.99 per month (also a basic free tier for users who don’t want to subscribe or bet on CRO).
According to the level up landing page on crypto.com, the program is designed to allow customers to participate via simple monthly/annual payments or lock and participate for 12 months to qualify for the same perks. Among the advantages of headings are:
- Zero trading fee About eligible crypto and stock trading.
- Cash yield An account that provides competitive APY with Idol Cash Balance (advertised as “up to 5%”).
- Card rewards: Crypto.com VisaSignature® Credit Card will return up to 6% back to CRO, and depending on your tier, purchase with Crypto.com Prepaid Card will return up to 5% back to CRO. Foreign transaction fees do not apply to prepaid cards.
- Stock transfer bonus 1.25%-2.5%, CroStaking yield (Crypto.com lists attractive staking rates tied together to level up your membership).
A compelling reward
Crypto.com folds rewards+ to level up, so users no longer have to rely on trading volume to unlock rewards+ perks. Earn plus bonuses and other rewards + perks are accessible through level up membership. The purpose of that integration is to simplify the company’s loyalty stack and facilitate perks for both casual and active users.
“We’re looking forward to seeing you in the future,” said Kris Marszalek, CEO and co-founder of Crypto.com. “The inspiration for creating level ups was to help users build wealth through the crypto.com experience. This level up upgrade is expected to significantly increase the number of CRO holders around the world.
The rollout shows Crypto.com’s push to connect payment rails, savings products, and transactions to a single subscription style experience.
Crypto.com product pages and recent company updates reveal that certain eligibility, fees and terms vary by jurisdiction, and the company advises users to review the leveling page for terms applicable to their region. For customers looking to explore new programs, Crypto.com’s Level Up Hub offers details on tier, pricing, and subscriber and staking CRO trade-offs.
Founded in 2016, the company described leveling up as “the boldest product ever,” and positioned it as a way to bring “cryptocurrency to all wallets” by making rewards more accessible across daily spending, investments and savings.
