Fatal Company: Core Preferences
In the game, you are a contract worker for a company called “The Company” and your job is to collect scraps from abandoned industrialized planets to meet the employer’s profit quota. Earning cash can be used to travel to other planets with a high risk-to-reward ratio, or upgrade suits or spacecraft.
The planets and moons you travel to include creatures that have wild nature and prey on the most vulnerable and lonely. It is your responsibility to protect your crew, and they are the only hope to collect scraps and meet the company’s quota, exploring extraterrestrials and turmoil through the lower berry of waste, iron and concrete.
Radar can be used to guide crews through various environments, call traps, and access remotely locked doors using the ship’s terminals. The company gets the job done by providing handy tools like lights, shovels, transceivers, stun grenades and boomboxes. Things can become dangerous in the dark, and it is important to communicate with the crew to carry all your valuables onto the ship and not leave anyone behind.
